New York-based designer Alison Pnini re-invents the
beauty of cashmere with Emma & Posh, a contemporary collection
of chic and fashion-forward cashmere pieces that offer women a
daily dose of soft and sophisticated wearable luxury. Pnini’s approach
to cashmere incorporates clean, figure flattering silhouettes with
couture-minded details, while its contemporary price point makes
Emma & Posh a staple luxury in every woman’s wardrobe.
Pnini,
who traded in an eight-year career in the sweater business for
daughter Emma and motherhood, felt that as a new mom, the days
of buying clothing with sky-high price tags seemed impractical,
but at the same time, she was unwilling to compromise on style
and quality.
She also desired key wardrobe items that were grab-and-go,
but always looked “put together.” Coupling her impressive experience
with an innate, enviable fashion sense, establishing Emma & Posh
became the perfect solution to her personal fashion priorities.
Created from deliciously sumptuous 100% cashmere,
the collection includes sweaters ranging from skin-hugging to kabuki
style, long and cropped cardigans, dresses, shrugs and tunics in
lofty cable knits, fine pointelle, chunky ribs and even lightweight
jersey. Fashion-forward, luxurious details include thoughtfully-placed
buttons, feminine ruching and pleating, military-style tabs and
sweet pockets.
Since its launch with the Holiday 2007 collection,
Emma & Posh has won the attention of style-making department
stores and boutiques including Henri Bendel, Lisa Kline, Edit,
and Fred Segal.
